Municipal Utility Services in Magrath

As a resident of Magrath, you will receive monthly utility bills for the services provided by the Town. These services help ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained community, and include:

• Garbage Collection: Regular curbside pickup of household waste and recycling is provided in accordance with the Town’s collection schedule. Access to the Transfer Station is also available for disposing of larger items and yard waste. Recyclable materials may be taken to the Recycling Centre located at the Recreation Shop.

• Yard Waste Collection: Seasonal collection of yard waste, such as grass clippings, leaves, and branches, to help maintain your property and support responsible disposal.

• Water and Wastewater Services: Treated drinking water is supplied to your home, and wastewater is collected and treated to protect public health and the environment.

• Irrigation Services: The Town of Magrath provides a seasonal irrigation water system that supplies untreated water for outdoor use, including lawns, gardens, and landscaping. This service supports residential watering needs and helps conserve treated potable water.

Monthly utility bills will be sent within the first week of any given month and be sue on the 28th of the same month. Residents are responsible for ensuring their accounts are paid on time or risk reciving penalties being applied to the amount owing.
