Permitted Uses
If your Development Permit application is for a Permitted Use, it is reviewed by the Development Officer to ensure it complies with the Land Use Bylaw and other applicable regulations. The Development Officer can then approve the application, approve with conditions, or refuse it if it does not meet the requirements.
Once a permit is approved, the Development Permit will be issued, and any applicable safety code applications (such as gas, electrical, building, or plumbing permits) must be submitted before construction or development can begin.
