Celebrate our freedom by honouring those valiant service men and women who serve our country. Town Remembrance Day programs are held at the Tom Karren Gymnasium and at the Cenotaph at the museum. Let us not forget those who have given their time and their lives that we may enjoy freedom today.

Seniors make a difference in our community every day. From supporting family members and friends to assisting charities and volunteering, seniors are deeply involved in our community and their contributions benefit citizens of all ages. Sponsored by the Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and the Town of Magrath, each year during Senior’s week a special breakfast is held to show our thanks and appreciation to all of the seniors in our community for their contributions in building the great heritage and community we have.

Join us for our annual Home Town Christmas Celebration. Sponsored by the Town of Magrath, the evening includes: Santa’s arrival, Christmas tree lighting at Town Hall, late night shopping and prize draws, free skating, crafter’s mall and children’s craft center. Come share the joy of the season with your friends and neighbours. Held the first Thursday evening after American Thanksgiving.
