The Magrath Cull Hunt will officially kick off today, November 19th at 9:00 AM, on the MyWildAlberta page! https://mywildalberta.ca/ Hunt Dates: • Dec. 5-7 • Dec. 12-14 • Dec. 19-21 • Jan. 2-4 • Jan. 9-11 We encourage landowners to get involved and partner with hunters for a safe and successful hunt. It's a great way to manage local wildlife populations and contribute to the community. Safety First! Always follow hunting safety protocols and be respectful of private land. Let's ensure everyone has an enjoyable and responsible hunting experience. Please share this with those who might be interested and let's make this a successful season for all!

As the weather cools down, it’s time to wrap up another great season at the Magrath Multicourt! A big thank you to everyone who played, practiced, and enjoyed the courts this year. Your energy and enthusiasm made it a fantastic season! See you next spring! 🌸

Little ghosts, witches, and superheroes will be out and about, collecting candy and having fun. Here are a few tips to keep our Halloween safe and enjoyable: 👻 Drive Slowly: Please reduce your speed in residential areas. Kids may dart out unexpectedly! 🍬 Be Cautious: Keep an eye out for excited trick-or-treaters crossing the streets. 🎉 Light Up: If you're handing out candy, make sure your porch lights are on to welcome the little ones. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Buddy System: Encourage kids to go out in groups and stay with trusted adults. On October 24, 2024, the Town of Magrath actively participated in a vital functional exercise organized by the Cardston County Regional Emergency Management Agency (CCREMA), aimed at enhancing regional emergency preparedness. This collaborative event involved key personnel from various municipalities, including first responders and emergency management teams, who engaged in a dynamic simulation of a fast-moving fire threatening multiple communities. Through this realistic scenario, Magrath's participants worked alongside their counterparts to refine response strategies, improve communication, and identify potential areas for enhancement in emergency protocols.
