The Town of Magrath does not remove snow from sidewalks adjacent to private property or private driveways. This is the responsibility of the property owner. If by chance your sidewalk and/or driveway are cleared it is because of a “Snow Angel” in your neighborhood and does not mean that it will be cleared for you through the whole season. Remember, when clearing snow from your driveways or sidewalks to shovel the snow onto your own property or boulevard and not onto the roads. This will allow for proper drainage and will help to avoid ice patches forming on roads and sidewalks. Thank you for your co-operation!
Please note that due to Magrath Days, the Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Saturday, July 26. Instead, it will be OPEN on Friday, July 25 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Thank you for your understanding, and enjoy the festivities!
