Passing of Former Mayor Brewerton

🕊 In Memoriam: Former Mayor Steele Brewerton 🕊


It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved former Mayor, Steele Brewerton. As a public servant and champion of our town, Steele's legacy will forever be etched in the fabric of Magrath.


In his honor, we will be lowering the Town of Magrath flags to half-mast until Monday October 23rd as a mark of our respect and gratitude for his years of service and dedication to our community.


Let us take a moment to reflect on the impact he had on our Town and all the lives he touched. Please join us in extending our deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.


Rest in peace, Mayor Brewerton. Your memory will live on in the spirit of Magrath.

The Town of Magrath has received notification from Cardston County regarding an important infrastructure project that will impact local traffic and pathways. Please note the following details about the upcoming road and pathway closures: Closure Details: • The road at the intersection of Township Road 55A (4th St East) and HWY 5 will be closed. • The walking path at Range Road 221(our trail on the north end of Town at 4th St East) will also be closed for public safety during construction. Important Dates: • Closure Start Date: Monday, May 12, 2025 • Duration: The closures will remain in place throughout the summer. A reopening date will be announced when available. These closures are necessary to complete vital infrastructure and safety upgrades. Detour routes will be clearly marked, and we kindly ask that all travelers plan, use alternate routes, and allow extra travel time when needed. For a detailed map of the closure location, please refer to the attachment below. We appreciate your patience and understanding as this important work takes place to improve the areas infrastructure.
