A Thank-you to Everyone Involved in Town Celebration

Town of Magrath • July 29, 2021

Message from Councillor Brian Oliver

Following another great Town Celebration I would like to thank and acknowledge the great work of Ryan O’Neill, Jessica Hehr, Trevor Millward, Wayne Quinton, and all of the town employees who were involved in making this past celebration so successful. Fire Chief Cliff Blackwell & The Magrath and District Fire Department also deserve our gratitude for taking on and ensuring pedestrian and fire safety with the Celebration fireworks. Events like Town Celebration do not just occur. The time that these individuals, their teams, and the many event organizers and volunteers put into the event is what really shows. Simply put, events like Celebration can’t happen without the hard work & efforts of all the people involved.

A special thanks to all our sponsors. Roosters Country Marketplace donated all of the food for the Town Council BBQ; Home Hardware sponsored the FMX Motocross show; Jenex/Blue Goose sponsored the fireworks; Dahl Clinic sponsored the event sound system; FMC sponsored the mechanical bull; United Rentals sponsored the generator; Western Recreation gave a direct donation; Truck Buyers sponsored the bounce house and obstacle course; Cardston County for sponsored the bottled water for the BBQ.

If I have forgotten to mention anyone, I apologize, but lastly a big thank you goes out to all of the residents and out-of-towners who came out and supported this great event! I have been the Councillor in charge of Town Celebration for the past 8 years and appreciate all of the support I have received. Your support has made this event grow every year and something the Town of Magrath and County can be very proud of.

Sincerely,

Councillor Brian Oliver
