Golf Course Potential Sale

Council is accepting proposals towards the potential sale of the Magrath Golf Course.  Proposals must be received by October 15th.  Details available at the Town Office.

Fire Ban has been moved to an advisory

The use of cooking and heating appliances fueled by propane or natural gas is still allowed. Fires in approved fire pits on private property are permitted, however residents are reminded to do so in a safe and courteous manner.  No new permits will be issued at this time.

Magrath Trail Headgate Bridge Update

Construction of the bridging structure at the Magrath National Historic Site head-gates is continuing this week. The three supporting I-beams are now in place, but it is expected that the bridge and railing assembly will be continuing throughout the rest of this week. As a result, this segment of the Magrath Trail will remain closed to the public until this work site and related construction works are completed and the contractor’s barriers are removed.
